Some disappointing news. Damian Minnervini has informed me that he has resigned as our club coach for next season due to work pressures. Minners and I have had ongoing discussions about managing his heavy workload over the past couple of years and this has now reached a point where he cannot fulfil his coaching role to the high level he demands of himself.

Minners has given fantastic service to the club over the last 3 years ensuring the Phantoms were always competitive on field and one of the most respected clubs in the League. In true Minners style has said he still wants to remain involved in the club next year in some meaningful capacity. We wish you every success going forward Minners and will miss your passion in the changerooms. Fortunately, we can still catch up with you and your beautiful family next season and beyond.

We have immediately begun a process to employ a replacement coach and have some exciting options to investigate. We will keep you informed as we make progress. Go PHOS!
