PHANTOMS STUMBLE

It was a mixed bag of results after the journey out to Modbury with the A Grade losing by 17 points and the B Grade recording their first win. The A’s missed out on a good opportunity to put them selves  clear in second place and now find themselves second on percentage but equal on points with 5 other sides. The next two weeks are crucial as we play Rostrevor away and SPOC at home and they are both sides on 4 wins 3 losses.

The B Grade was the highlight recording their first win for the year. They got off to a flying start leading by more than five goals at quarter time. Modbury clawed their way back into the contest but the phantoms held strong to win by 7 points. The balls now rolling and don’t be surprised to see them make a charge from here .The C’s had a bye.

The Juniors hosted a full day of games on Sunday and results were mixed. It was pleasing to see so many parents / players return for the afternoon presentations to recognise good performers and to support the club .A big THANKS to all involved with all sides especially Coaches and Team Managers. Well Done.
